Our Signature Event

Identity Crisis was started as a social event 10 years ago and it has grown into a community fundraiser that brings hundreds to Shepherdstown. It is a celebration of life, a menagerie of creativity and a banding together of individuals, businesses and organizations for charity. This will be the seventh year that we will be raising funds for the Breast Cancer Awareness-Cumberland Valley organization.

Our Nonprofit

The Power of People Connecting

After years of successful Identity Crisis fundraisers and an enormous amount of community involvement, we were inspired in March of 2015 to formalize a 501 (c3) called the Victory Project. The non-profit’s mission,”Victory Project is dedicated to the encouragement of strategic philanthropy with a focus on social responsibility, domestic equality and community building” will help organize and lead the charge for those that want to help others. We are excited to move forward this Summer continuing the Identity Crisis Event as a part of that mission.

If you are interested in being involved with our organization now or in the future, please reach out to our volunteer coordinator Kelly Riner at riner6712@comcast.net or visit our facebook page Victory Project Inc.

Come as you are not At the 10th Annual 2019 Identity Crisis Fundraiser

The Victory Project’s premier fundraising event for BCA-CV.

This Year's Theme:

This year’s theme, “10 Years: Come As You Are Not” encompasses the event’s spirit of dressing up and getting out and about in the community together. We are excited to fill the town with fun, raising money and awareness for individuals and businesses to help Breast Cancer Awareness-CV. Dresses, masks, wigs, hats and more. We will once again be lining the streets with lights, red carpets, step and repeats and paparazzi to capture the Glamour and Fantasy that attendees are sure to bring!

The event will take place in Historic Downtown Shepherdstown on August 10th from 6pm – midnight and includes VIP pre-party, red carpet arrival with motorcade, discounts at participating businesses, photo booth fun, dance party and more!
